Information you provide

When you create an account or use an App, you may provide:

• Email address — used to authenticate your account and contact you about the App.
• Display name — shown within your account.
• Password — stored in hashed form by our authentication provider; we never see your plaintext password.
• Content you create — e.g. preferences, watchlists, notes, logs, or other data you choose to save inside an App.
• Messages you send us — e.g. support emails.

Information collected automatically

• Device and platform information — operating system, device model, app version, language.
• Usage data — screens viewed, features used, approximate timestamps of activity.
• Diagnostic data — crash reports and error logs to help us fix bugs.
• Push notification tokens — if you enable notifications.
• IP address — collected by our servers as part of standard backend operations.

Location information

Most of our Apps do not collect precise location. Where an App does use location (for example, to help find something near you), it is always optional and described in that App's supplemental notice. We do not use location for advertising or profiling.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and authenticate your account.
• Operate the features of the App you are using.
• Deliver push notifications when you have opted in to receive them.
• Fix bugs, monitor performance, and improve the quality of the App.
• Respond to your support requests.
• Protect the App and our users from fraud or abuse.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not:

• Sell or rent your personal information.
• Use your data for targeted advertising or profiling.
• Share your data with political campaigns or marketers on their behalf.

We rely on a small number of trusted service providers to run our Apps. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments, and only to help operate the Apps. Categories include:

• Cloud hosting, database, and authentication — to store accounts and App data.
• Push notification delivery — to send notifications to your device.
• Crash reporting and analytics — to diagnose issues and understand aggregate usage.
• Email — to respond to your support messages.

We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

If Collality is ever involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a materially different policy.

We retain your account information and the content you create in an App until you delete it or delete your account. Diagnostic logs and crash reports are retained for a limited period for troubleshooting. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us at hello@collality.com.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including TLS encryption for data in transit, access controls on our backend, and hashed password storage via our authentication provider.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us at hello@collality.com.

Our Apps are designed for general audiences and are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@collality.comwith the subject line "Privacy Request." We will respond within the time period required by applicable law.

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.

Our Apps and this website may link to third-party websites or services we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those services. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where feasible, notify you through the App. Continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
